6/3/2011 Sharm El Sheikh/Hilton Fayrouz, diving and snorkeling, dinner at Fairouz

Breakfast buffet.  Me-one egg over easy, fruit, mini pastries, orange juice, coffee.  Today I am going along with Richard.  He will do his diving and there will be snorkeling for me.  Drop off more laundry.

DIVING AND SNORKELING.  Our boat is Delphinius and we are going to Tiran.  Richard dives Woodhouse Reef and Jackson Reef. At Jackson Reef I tried to snorkel but water was a bit too rough for me.  Lunch on the boat was very good.  Hot pasta and sauce, chicken fingers, cold salads.  I had coke to drink.  On the way back we stop at the House Reef.  Richard decides not to do a 3rd dive here but will snorkel with me.  I feel more comfortable with him.  And I'm so happy.  There's tons of fish.

Back to our hotel room Richard rinses his dive gear.  He is done with his diving.  Lovely pillow art again.  We change for dinner and stroll along the promenade.  Past the Movenpick ice cream stand.  Tempting but we haven't had dinner yet.  Quick stop Hard Rock where I buy another souvenir shot glass.  Cost 66 LE.

FAIRUZ.  Lebanese.  Dinner is at this restaurant located on the second floor of Na'ama Center on King of Bahrain Street in Na'ama Bay area.  Walking distance from our hotel.   We had no reservation but easily got a table overlooking the street.  Good for people watching.  Ordered batata harry-vegetarian hot starter.  Richard has the mixed grill and I have the Fairuz shawerma (chicken) from the charcoal grill.  Homemade breads and several kinds of spreads were complimentary.  Coke, fanta, spring water.   Excellent service.  Very good.  Cost without tip 344.96 LE.

Back at the hotel and in our room I spent an hour on the internet checking my credit card account, sent an e-mail to our daughter, and tried to confirm our flight to Cairo for 6/5 but not successful.  Will have to call the airline to confirm.
