Breakfast buffet. I think I had my usual. Check out. Settle bill of 170.20 LE/$28.64 which was for our drinks by the pool. Took some pictures public areas of the hotel. Took out some money from the ATM at the hotel HSBC 250.00 LE which I need for our final tips. Loved our stay here and would return.
FLIGHT CAIRO TO ATHENS. Adel is picking us up at 7:15 am. Fairid is with him. Unfortunately on the way to the airport a car hits us. No one is hurt but Adel's car has some damage. Names, etc. exchanged. Fairid tells us how Egypt insurance deals with car accidents is not as well as the US does. I'm glad Fairid was in the car because this was not Adel's fault. It doesn't delay us too much and we get to the airport with plenty of time. Our flight is Egypt Air #7747 departing at 11:30 am. Fairid helps us get all checked in and we say our goodbyes. By 9:00 am I'm buying candy, last minute things from the airport shops!
Now we are about to embark on the second part of our journey. We will be exploring Greece from 6/8-7/7/2011. It will include a stay of several days with our good friend George and his wife who have a second home in Chania, Crete. Can't wait!
