6/4/2011 Sharm El Sheikh/Hilton Fayrouz, beach, pool, tube ride, dinner at Fares

Breakfast buffet.  Waffles with syrup, fruit, mini pastry, orange juice, coffee.  Walked over to Hilton Dreams Hotel to withdraw 2500 LE.

Day of leisure.   BEACH.   Went snorkeling and saw a good amount of fish.  It was pleasant.  We decided to do the tube ride.  Reservation made for 3:00 pm.  POOL.  This is the other larger pool.  So we have been to all 4 of them-2 smaller pools and the 2 larger pools.  Back to our room to wash out some underwear and rinse our snorkel gear.  Towel art.  Back to the beach.  TUBE RIDE.  Cost $30.00 USD.  So much fun.  Around 15 minutes.  Ice cream cones from Movenpick.  Back to the pool.

This was so much fun

Back in our room.  Shower and change for dinner.  We've decided to return to FARES in Old Town as we liked it so much.  Hotel arranges taxi 70 LE round trip-same as before.  This time we both order the mixed seafood soup.  The bowl has 2 soft shell crabs, shrimp, calamari, tiny clams in a milk and butter broth.  It is terrific.  We thought we'd order something else to share but shortly after bringing us our soup out comes all these platters of food.  Sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles, shredded beets and carrots, fried pita chips.  A plate of salad mix.  3 kinds of dipping sauces.  Some homemade pita, aubergine salad, chick pea salad.  So much food.  Drinks-2 cokes and a sprite.  Cost without tip 70 LE.  I can't believe we got so much for so little.  Definitely recommend this place.  The food is fabulous and the service is equally as fabulous.  Such a great way to end our time in Sharm El Sheikh.

On our way back to the hotel our taxi driver stops for gas and buys us bottles of water.  How sweet!   Tomorrow we have a flight to Cairo.  We pack up our things.  Our time in Egypt is fast coming to an end.  Our stay in Sharm El Sheikh turned out just the way we wanted.  Diving for Richard and beach/pool relaxation.

Last chance as we leave tomorrow.
